Info for Parents

To all Soccer Parents & Fans,

Let’s remember; our goal is to have a FUN, SAFE and ENRICHING season of soccer!  We will be concentrating on teaching the players the fundamentals and sportsmanship.  We will be exposing the players to all positions.  As the goal indicates, we are not here to win games.  If we win a game by fulfilling our goal then that’s a nice bonus. Thank you in advance for helping contribute to an enjoyable season. Please print this out to help you with your childs practice times and needs. PRACTICES

Practices will be begin at ___p.m. on the following day(s)______________ located at____________. 

We encourage the parents to stay for practice.  If that is not possible,  please contact the coach.

* Please provide your son/daughter with a windbreaker or  sweatshirt to keep warm during windy, cloudy or foggy days.  Please bring a bottle of water too.

HEALTHY SNACKS FOR GAMES

Our players are gonna be workin’ up an appetite during practice, so we’d like to see each of us contribute snacks and drinks for the players.  Your team parent will be contacting you to let you know when your turn will be for providing snacks and drinks.

PICTURES

            The following pictures are provided at no charge:  Sports picture frame or Memory Mate (includes a 3X5 individual and a 5X7 team, 4 wallets and one photo button is included.  Team pictures will be held in August at Ann Soldo Elementary School (playing field), actual date to be posted soon.

In order to help defray the cost of uniforms, the players will be responsible for helping their team in any fundraising or solicitation of sponsorships. The players will be able to keep their uniforms after the season is over.  Uniforms consist of socks, shorts and a jersey with a number and logo.

Please bring the following mandatory items to each practice and game:  Shin guards & cleats.  Players will not be able to participate in practice or games without the mandatory equipment.  We would also like all players to bring a soccer ball to each practice.

We will be needing parents to help out with our annual Fireworks Booth, which helps to provide extra funds to pay for referees, field paint, field preparation and goal maintenance. All teams are required to participate by providing at least three parents per team that will do three to four hour shifts between July 1st and July 4th. We will also need help on May 30th unloading our portion of fireworks and restacking them inside our container.
